Curious about Nursery

 at the Kidzone?

Woodward Avenue Baptist Kidzone is committed to providing a loving, healthy, safe and well staffed environment for our babies, toddlers and two's.  We want our babies to feel from their first experience that the church is a place where they are loved!

Availability & Facilities

Nursery is availabe during all services on Sunday Mornings, Sunday Evenings and Wednesday Evenings.  Babies are divided into appropriate classrooms - Bed Babies; Creepers; Toddlers; 2's. All classrooms are  in the Children's Building which we call "The Kidzone", which is located and connected to the main building and at the back of the Worship Center.

Who works in the nursery?

Volunteer caregivers make our nursery a success!  They help provide physical and emotional care and encourage interaction among the children and adults.  Youth helpers also assist the adults, but are never put in a leader role in our classrooms.  All youth must go through "Youth Volunteer Training" in order to work with you precious children.  Adults are required to complete a Volunteer Form before working with children of any age.
Parents, please be prepared there may come a time when you are asked to stay in order to fill a shortage or to help meet our adult/child ratio in the event our numbers are larger than normal.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
